Thank you to all who returned Estimate of Giving Cards to the church. Your cards have helped us in our budget planning for 2022. Here is a brief summary of results for our “Keeping the Faith” campaign for 2022.

For 2022 we received 119 Estimate of Giving Cards totaling $445,512.00 for the operating fund.  That represents an 8% increase over 2021. We received $13,000.00 in parking receipts (MSU football and student PRNDL parking) which were credited to 2022 income. Additionally, we anticipate receipts for spring and fall semester student parking in 2022, as well as another round of MSU football parking receipts again next fall. Building use fees from tenants will net $23,000.00 in income. This currently puts projected income within $114.00 of projected expenses for 2022.

As you may be aware, we did receive a federal payroll protection grant in the amount of $62,362 for 2021. That enabled us to finish 2021 with a positive bank balance of $28,492.00. We do not anticipate receiving another federal grant in 2022.

Finally, 77 households returned Estimate of Giving Cards for our mortgage fund totaling $113,602.00 for 2022. This amount is $2,000.00 short of what we will make in payments.
