Our long-time chancel choir director, Susan Stinson, will be retiring from her position this spring. Susan’s last Sunday with us as chancel choir director will be May 22. Susan served as the UUMC chancel choir director as well as the bell choir director for several years. Her musical career in the community has spanned over fifty years. A special anthem has been commissioned to be written in her honor by composer Connor Koppin and will be performed during a Sunday worship service in May to be announced soon. Susan will be dearly missed as choir director but she and her husband, Fred, have assured us they plan to remain as members of the music community and fellowship at UUMC.
