NEW WORSHIP SERVICE AND CHRISTIAN EDUCATION TIMES STARTING SUNDAY, SEPT. 11:
*9:30 a.m. Traditional Worship
*10:30 a.m. Coffee Time in Garden (weather permitting) and Gathering Space
*11:00 a.m. REACH Worship
Coffee will also be available BEFORE the traditional worship service.
We will have the same message, theme and preacher for both services. Traditional worship will include liturgy, chancel choir, bell choir, organ and piano music; REACH service will include the REACH Band and a more casual feel for worship.
RETURN OF SUNDAY SCHOOL
After a few very strange Covid years, we are SO excited to return to in-person Sunday School this fall for children ages Pre-K through 6th grade. Children will be invited to go upstairs for Sunday School following the children’s message in both the Traditional and REACH services. Masks are still strongly encouraged, and we will continue to use increased ventilation and social distancing to promote a healthy atmosphere for everyone involved. On Communion Sundays (first Sunday of the month), there will be NO Sunday School, so children have a chance to participate in the traditions of sacrament with their families. Children are invited to borrow a busy kit from the family area to take into worship with them, and we welcome them into this time of worship as their church family. Nursery care continues to be available for children ages 0-3 during both worship services.
YOUTH GROUP
Youth Group will resume in person on Sunday, September 11, and we will be returning to the tradition of sharing lunch together from 12:00 noon to 1:30 p.m. each week. If you are the parent or guardian of a youth-aged student and do not already receive youth group updates via email, please contact Sara Cardinal (kidsnyouthstuff@gmail.com) and request to be added to the mailing list.
