The recent desecration of church property in Washington DC by members of a hate group is distressing.  To show solidarity with our brothers and sisters there, Church and Society decided to make a donation of support to the three congregations affected. Checks of $100 have been sent to Asbury UMC, the Metropolitan African American Methodist Episcopal Church, and to Mount Vernon UMC.  Our message … love will prevail.
